Mauritel revenues up 13.4% to MAD 1.02 bln

Mauritania operator Mauritel posted revenues for the first nine months of 2012 up 13.4 percent from a year earlier to MAD 1.02 billion. At constant exchange rates, revenues rose 11.1 percent. The growth was driven by a 22 percent rise in mobile service revenues, mobile customer growth of 16.3 percent to 2.063 million and higher consumption. Mobile ARPU improved 14.2 percent from a year ago to MAD 53.6 per month.
