Could-based wireless networking company Meraki has introduced three products that provide capacity, enhanced security and reach for enterprise wireless LANs. These products extend Meraki's portfolio of wireless and wired networking features and deliver a complete networking service for providing secure network access. Meraki's three new products include Meraki MR24, Meraki NAC and Meraki Teleworker VPN. Meraki MR24 is an ultra-high performance access point. The MR24 is an enterprise AP to offer triple-stream, 3x3 MIMO for a total throughput of 900Mbps. The MR24 is available for order at a list price of USD 1199. The MR24 is also available via Meraki's Networking as a Service pricing, starting at USD 38 per month. Meraki NAC is one-click network security to block network access from devices with insufficient virus protection and no hardware appliance or client software is required. Meraki's NAC service is to be built directly into a wireless LAN. Meraki NAC is available to all Meraki enterprise customers. Meraki Teleworker VPN service allows users to securely access their corporate network, including file servers, PBX phone systems, and internal applications, from any internet-connected Meraki AP. Meraki Teleworker VPN service features a virtual concentrator and cloud-based centralised management system. Meraki Teleworker VPN service features include zero-touch provisioning, self-configuration from the cloud, NAC content filtering, and its policy firewall is enforced at the edge, the split tunnel diverts internet traffic from corporate network and is compliant with any Meraki AP, with no additional licences or fees.
