NASK unveils new offers for ISPs

Monday 28 June 2010 | 10:24 CET | News
Polish operator NASK has come up with a special offer involving services for the ISP sector. The services are offered in competitively priced packages and allow ISP businesses to meet regulatory requirements, as well as ensure the security of services offered to end-users. NASK offers IP traffic transit services, including, inter alia, full IP traffic transit (both domestic and foreign), domestic IP traffic transit, foreign IP traffic transit and foreign IP DE-CIX traffic transit (connection with over 200 operators at the traffic exchange point in Frankfurt). The services are rendered with the use of the Border Gateway Protocol, and their parameters are guaranteed by Service Level Agreements. The packages include qualified incident response by NASK, a service consisting in responding to IT security violation incidents. Under the same packages, NASK recommends an online backup service. The dedicated offer also includes SIP trunk, a service combining the customer's IP telephony platform and the NASK platform with the use of the IP network – e.g. based on IP traffic transit or a data transmission link dedicated to voice traffic. ISPs who value independence and plan to expand their operation may also rely on NASKS' assistance in obtaining their own ASN number from the RIPE organisation. Furthermore, companies interested in this form of cooperation may also join the partnership programme for businesses acting as NASK's agents.
