Nextel passes 100,000 customers milestone in Chile

Nextel has reached 100,000 customers in Chile, Diario Financiero reports. Nextel launched its operations in Chile at the beginning of 2012. According to data provided by Chilean telecoms regulator Subtel, Nextel ended September 2012 with over 88,000 mobile subscribes, or a mobile market share of 0.38 percent, ahead of Virgin Mobile (0.29%) and VTR Movil (0.21%) that also launched operations in Chile in 2012.
