Number of French internet users up 8% y-on-y in November

Over 37 million French aged over 11 years old, representing 70 percent of France's population, connected to the internet in November 2010, that is 8 percent more than in November 2009, according to November 2010 statistics from Mediametrie. In the same month, 33.5 million internet users, 96.3 percent of whom had fixed internet connections at home, used broadband connections (cable or ADSL), 11 percent more than in November 2009.
