Numericable to launch unmetered international mobile calls

French cable operator and MVNO Numericable is launching an unlimited international mobile call plan for EUR 10 a month on 19 September. It includes fixed-line numbers in over 100 countries and fixed and mobile in the US, Canada and China. Agreements were reached with major international operators Verizon, Telefonica, Cable & Wireless, Tata Communications and others. Subscribers to the Maghreb option will also be able to make unlimited calls to Morocco and Algeria from October. Numericable did not enter the mobile market until May of this year. It offers an unlimited domestic mobile plan costing EUR 24.90 for its cable customers and EUR 49.90 for others.
