O2 UK, Isobar team for NFC app development event

O2 UK has teamed with digital communications agency Isobar to launch the 'Isobar Create London' event. This will offer developers from around the UK the opportunity to create their own apps and win a start-up development fund and marketing support to launch their idea to market. The 36-hour event from 24-25 March at Shoreditch Studios in London will focus on new uses for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Participants will develop their apps before pitching them to a panel of judges from the digital and tech world including Isobar, O2 and BlackBerry. Participants will be asked to develop applications for four brand sponsored categories: Retail, Sporting Events, Finance and Leisure & Entertainment.
