News
South African ISP OpenWeb has launched a bonded ADSL service offering speeds of up to 16 Mbps, MyBroadband reported. The 30 GB package costs ZAR 1,499 and the 50 GB one costs ZAR 1,999. CEO Keoma Wright said that it uses VPN technology that can use affordable hardware to bond up to four ADSL lines together. The set-up costs are ZAR1,710 for two lines and ZAR 2,499 for three or four lines. The two-line service is available with no contract, on a month-to-month basis. The three and four-line service is available on six-month contracts. The service is available nationally.
