Orange reshuffles management in east Europe
Orange has announced a number of changes to its senior management in Europe. Gervais Pellissier remains Executive Director for Europe, while Bruno Duthoit, currently the CEO of Orange Polska, will join his team as Deputy Executive Director for Europe, responsible for Central Europe.

In addition, Orange Romania's CEO Jean-Fransois Fallacher will take up the role of CEO at Orange Poland, and Orange Moldova's CEO Liudmila Climoc will become CEO of Orange Romania. Orange Romania's CCO Julien Ducarroz will replace Climoc as CEO of Orange Moldova. The changes will take effect from 01 May. 

In addition to the above executives, the Europe management teams also includes Orange Spain CEO Laurent Paillassot, Mobistar CEOI Jean-Marc Harion, Orange Slovakia CEO Pavol Lancaric and Orange Luxembourg CEO Werner de Laet.

Orange Romania CEO Climoc gets new mandate extension

Orange Romania has extended the mandate of existing CEO Liudmila Climoc by 2 years to the end of April 2025, local publication Profit reports. Climoc, a former general manager of Orange Moldova, became Orange Romania's CEO on 1 May 2016. Her mandate has already been extended twice, first in April 2019 and then in April 2021.

Fallacher to take over as Orange Spain CEO in September

The Orange Group's executive committee has announced that the current chief executive of Orange Poland, Jean-Francois Fallacher, will take over as the new chief executive officer of its Orange Spain subsidiary on 01 September. He will replace current CEO Laurent Paillassot, who is leaving the group for a new professional venture after 4 years at the helm of Orange Spain.

Orange names Foulon secretary of executive committee

Orange announced the appointment of Hugues Foulon as head of the Chairman and CEO's office for the Orange Group and Secretary of the Group's Executive Committee from 01 September. He reports directly to Orange CEO Stephane Richard. Foulon was previously CFO of Orange Middle East & Africa.

Orange Poland posts Q2 EBITDA down 14%

Orange Poland reported a further drop in results in the second quarter, as growth in mobile was offset by declines in fixed. Its new CEO Jean-François Fallacher said he will push on with his predecessor's plan to invest in upgrading broadband infrastructure in order to improve the operator's competitive edge and focus in the second half of the year on promoting more the group's fibre and VDSL broadband services to reverse the decline in the fixed market. Orange Slovakia opens Lab powered by Orange Foundation

Orange Slovakia opened a new laboratory. The Lab powered by Orange Foundation serves as a place where students, young professionals and the general public can acquire new skills in the latest technologies. The Lab is located in the centre of Bratislava and also offers co-working space. It will serve to test progressive digital production and design in practice, research and education.

Orange Romania extends CEO mandate to July 2017

Orange Romania's board of directors decided on 19 May to extend the mandate of existing CEO Jean Francois Fallacher from 1 July 2015 to 1 July 2017, writes online publication Hotnews.ro citing a BoD decision published on 9 October in the country's official gazette. The BoD also extended Julien Ducarroz and and Diego Martinez's mandates as commercial director and CFO. Fallacher was first put in charge of Orange Romania's operations on 1 July 2011.
