PagesJaunes joins Facebook Ads API Programme

French online directory and map group PagesJaunes has joined the Facebook Ads API Progamme, enabling it to offer small businesses a social recommendation service on Facebook. PagesJaunes already provides website creation, referencing, display ads and online bookings solutions. The Facebook service consists of the 'Facebook Presence Pack', a turnkey solution to create optimised fan pages and to manage ad campaigns on the social network. PagesJaunes said a test version of the presence pack was currently being trialed by around 50 local advertisers in Paris, Marseille, Lille, Bordeaux and Grenoble. A pilot service is due to go live in the Paris area at the end of January.
