PhonepayPlus confirms budget for 2012/2013

UK premium rate services regulator PhonepayPlus has confirmed its budget for 2012/2013, following consultation with industry and approval from Ofcom. It expects the total cost of PRS regulation in 2012/13, covering PhonepayPlus' core activity and the Registration Scheme, to be around GBP 4.09 million. The proposed PhonepayPlus budget for levy-funded activity in 2012/13 is GBP 3.74 million. With the budget now confirmed, PhonepayPlus today announces the adjusted levy for 2012/13 together with a new Registration Scheme fee structure for the coming financial year. The revised levy and registration fee will apply from 01 April.
