Pinterest aims to expand in Germany

Former Gruner + Jahr editor in chief Jan Honsel has been appointed Germany's first country manager at Pinterest and aims to make it the second most popular social network there within 18 months, Horizont.net reported, citing Focus magazine. Comscore has said Pinterest's audience has tripled over the past twelve months to at least 2 million, according to Focus.
