Two months after the Festival Sopot Top of the Top, where the Polish operator Polkomtel, operating under the brand Plus, presented LTE in the 1800MHz band at 150 Mbps, the company is launching the faster service to customers. The new offer includes larger data packages at lower prices, the possibility to sign a contract for twelve months and bigger discounts for current customers using other services already. The new offer Plus Internet LTE 150 Mbps will be available from 2 November. The coverage of the operator's LTE network is 35 percent of the population, while HSPA/HSPA+ technology reaches 87 percent of the population. The new offer will be available with a modem or router and a contract for 24 or 12 months. Subscriptions will be available from PLN 14.90 to PLN 139.90 per month, offering from 1 GB to 35 GB data. Besides, customers will also get the night package with 50 GB free with all options, except for the lowest one, with which, however customers will be able to buy the night package for PLN 10. Polkomtel also offers several options with a tablet or laptop (subscription from PLN 79.90 to PLN 159.90, with 6 - 25 GB data). Additional discounts on subscriptions and additional data packages will be provided for purchases via the e-shop. Customers extending contracts for 12 or 24 months who opt for a modem or a router will be provided additional discounts of PLN 15. Customers coming from another operator will be provided a 29-month contract with the first five months free. The offer will be supported by the modem Huawei E3276 LTE 150 Mbps.
