Prorail in talks with Dutch ministry over GSM-R

Wednesday 26 September 2012 | 09:54 CET | News
Dutch rail manager ProRail will not, for the moment, start any legal action against spectrum regulator Agentschap Telecom, AutomatiseringGids reported. The rail manager is in talks with the ministry of economic affairs after warning that the new mobile licenses could cause interference problems with the railway's GSM-R communication network. The frequency auction begins on 31 October, with no authorisation modifications allowed at this late stage.
