QR Pay launches QR Pal app for Android

News
QR Pay launched QR Pal, a new QR code scanner app for Android which enables end-users to scan, store and share various types of bar codes and QR codes. The app also features a payment function and includes 'Safe browsing.' It has the ability to scan both QR codes and traditional bar codes and has a wide range of settings enabling end-users to scan, save, auto save, open link, share, edit and more. QR Pal has a detailed list of categories and if the auto save function is enabled it will automatically place the type of code in the relevant folder. Users are able to instantly share their scans via MMS, Email, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. QR Pal has the option to auto share users' scans by simply authorising the app with their Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. QR Pal also includes a payment feature which enables users to make and receive payments via PayPal. To receive a payment, users simply enter the amount and a description (their PayPal email and currency are predefined in the settings). Subsequently, the app generates a QR code which when scanned takes the person who is making the payment to the PayPal payment page. QR Pal also rewards its users with points for scanning and sharing, points which can be turned into prizes. QR Pal is available to download for free at Android Market, GetJar and many other good Android App stores. An iPhone version of the app is currently in development and is expected to be available by the end of the month.
