News
Romanian operator RCS & RDS has reduced and unified the tariffs for making calls from its fixed and mobile networks towards other fixed or mobile networks in Europe. The change applies for the majority of the operator's subscriptions and for both new as well as existing customers. Digi Tel and Digi Mobil subscribers now pay the same tariff of EUR 0.02 per minute for making calls towards fixed numbers in Europe (EUR 0.0248 per minute with VAT included). As for making calls towards mobile numbers in Europe, three unique tariffs apply depending on the country towards which calls are being directed to. More specifically, calls towards zone 1 (Austria, France, Sweden, Turkey and Cyprus) cost EUR 0.03 per minute, calls towards zone 2 (Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Lituania, UK, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary) cost EUR 0.05 per minute, while calls directed to zone 3 (Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Luxemburg, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Macedonia) cost EUR 0.07 per minute. The tariffs with VAT included are EUR 0.0372, 0.062 and 0.0868 per minute. The new tariffs are not available for calling special destinations in these countries. The changes apply for residential subscriptions 'Nelimitat' priced at EUR 2.48 (Digi Tel Fix 2 Nelimitat, Digi Tel Nelimitat, Digi Mobil Nelimitat) and the Digi Tel Asociat subscription priced at RON 5 (TVA included). At the same time, the business subscriptions for which the price reductions apply are the fixed telephony package 'Digi Tel Conect', the packages with both fixed and mobile telephony 'Digi Tel Grup', subscriptions with simultaneous calls from fixed 'Digi Tel Conect Plus', as well as 'Digi Grup' and 'Digi Flux' subscriptions.
