RealNetworks unveils free video downloader

Digital entertainment services company RealNetworks has unveiled RealDownloader, a free video downloader. Users can choose a free or premium version, providing downloads of videos found on thousands of websites. RealDownloader downloads videos directly to a user's desktop computer and is available at realdownloader.com. RealDownloader Plus is for users who want to transfer videos to their BlackBerry, Android or Windows smartphones or to other devices and increase the download speed. The free RealDownloader downloads web video, downloads multiple videos simultaneously, works with multiple browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome. RealDownloader allows users to share videos by posting a link to the webpage displaying the video on Facebook, Twitter and Myspace, or through e-mail and save and watch videos offline at a later time. RealDownloader also offers a light video viewer.
