Rhapsody acquires Napster
Digital music service Rhapsody has agreed to buy rival Napster from Best Buy. No takeover price was disclosed, but Best Buy said it would receive a minority stake in Rhapsody as part of the deal. The takeover is expected to close by the end of November. Both companies offer subscription music services in the US over a range of devices, including online, mobile and TVs.
