Romania opens tender for prices comparison web app

Romania's telecom authority Ancom will organise an auction whose winner will develop a website application that enables end-users to compare the prices of telecom services. Offers have to be submitted to Ancom by 28 March. The auction is addressed to natural or legal persons from Romania or abroad who must have registered an overall average turnover for the last three years of at least RON 3 million. At the same time, they must demonstrate that they developed integrated IT apps (hardware and software, including web) in the last three years. The estimated contract value is RON 1.519 million (excluding VAT). The app should be developed within 200 days from the date the contract was awarded. The project will be financed through an EU grant of RON 886,198 Ancom has signed in March 2011.
