Romtelecom opens call centre for outsourcing in Bacau

Romtelecom Business Solutions entered into a new business field by opening a business outsource processing (BPO) call centre in the city of Bacau. This new line of business will create job opportunities for the people in the Bacau area, aiming to gather several hundred agents by the end of next year. The call centre will serve mainly business customers in Romania, but also companies abroad, aiming to have on the long term a 24/7 operating schedule. All operations of the call centre will be handled by Romtelecom managers, including the training of the staff, while a separate company will provide and select the necessary work force according to the ongoing contracts. Romtelecom guarantees the level of service and data security to its business customers, which are using the call centre's services to cover their business needs. Until the present time, the call centre has been operating as a pilot project. It has several tens of employees at this moment.
