Samsung to offer 'mini' Galaxy S3 smartphone in Europe

Samsung is set to launch a mini version of the Galaxy S3 smartphone with a 4-in display in Europe as it looks to compete with iPhone 5, reports The Guardian. The Galaxy S3, launched in late-May, has a 4.8-in display. JK Shin, head of mobile communications for Samsung, said at a press conference in Seoul that there was a lot of demand for a 4-in display device in Europe.
