Skyviia licenses ANT Galio HbbTV platform

Multimedia IC design company Skyviia has licensed digital TV software and services specialist ANT's Galio HbbTV Platform and core TV applications. Skyviia will integrate ANT's software into its new range of SoC systems for the European HbbTV market. Skyviia will integrate the ANT Galio HbbTV Platform onto two Android based HbbTV product lines. The SV8860 range will deliver a single tuner service using Android 2.2. The SV8870 product line will provide a service supporting multiple tuners using Android 4.0. Both product ranges will support HbbTV broadcast services along with regional applications.
