Swisscom to build fibre-optic network in Yverdon-les-Bains

Swisscom plans to deploy fibre-optic network technology in the municipalities of Yverdon-les-Bains (canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden) over the next few years. The first private households and businesses will be able to benefit from the new connections in autumn 2012, with work commencing in spring 2012. Swisscom will ccoperate with Service des Energies d'Yverdon-les-Bains (SEY) to install the fibre cables in the communities.
