T-Mobile Poland to launch LTE services under Jump brand
T-Mobile Poland will unveils its LTE network and offers 05 June, the last of the major operators in Poland. According to T-Mobile Poland's board member Grzegorz Bors, the launch of 4G services only makes sense when there is sufficient network coverage, reports Rpkom.pl. Already around half the smartphones offered by T-Mobile support 4G. The new LTE offers will use the brand Jump and come with music streaming services provided in cooperation with the service WiMP and video from providers such as TVP.

According to the operator's survey, 70 percent of subscribers expect unlimited voice offers from operators, and about 90 percent of respondents expect a subscription to cost no more than PLN 49.90. The new offer from T-Mobile will respond to those expectations, Bors said. The Jump tariffs include unlimited basic services (except for mobile internet). Consumer subscriptions start at PLN 39.99 on SIM-only options. The highest options (from PLN 149.99) include also mobile data roaming.

Together with Telewizja Polską, T-Mobile plans to offer live streaming of football matches from the World Cup starting mid-June. T-Mobile Poland gained the exclusive right from TVP for broadcasting on mobile devices. The operator also prepared a dedicated application available on the TVP website.

T-Mobile said that its LTE network reaches 45 percent of the population and by the end of June the coverage should increase to 50.2 percent.
