Tawasul Telecom launches MPLS network in GCC

Tuesday 20 October 2009 | 14:00 CET | News
Kuwait-based operator Tawasul Telecom announced the launch of its operation and the completion of its MPLS-based network in the GCC. The launch makes possible the provision of data communication services to GCC-based companies and multinational institutions within the region as well as in the Middle East and the North Africa regions. The network operated from its Kuwait-based Network Operations Centre uses the latest networking technology from Cisco Systems. The capabilities of its own points of presence in each of the GCC countries will allow it to offer a wide range of data connectivity services for corporate and government bodies supported by the company's value-added services. The company is able to provide connectivity services in over 80 countries with coverage spanning over five continents made possible by strategic partnerships with major international telecommunication operators across the globe.
