Telcel launches Motorola Spice XT Android smartphone

Telcel has launched Motorola's Spice XT smartphone in Mexico. The handset features full Qwerty keyboard, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3-megapixel camera, social media applications integration, dual-band HSDPA/Quad-band EDGE support, a microSD card slot up to 32GB, access to Google Maps Navigation, Google Talk and web browsing. The Motorola XT runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. The Motorola Spice XT is now available at Telcel stores free of charge in combination with the 'Mas por Menos 3' plan with an 18-month contract. Prepay users can acquire the handset for MXN 3,199.
