Telecom NZ launches fibre broadband plans
Telecom New Zealand will begin offering Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) services to individuals, small business customers, and schools from 28 March. The residential "Ultra Fibre" plans are offered in two speed choices: 30/10 Mbps or 100/50 Mbps. The UltraFibre 30 plans start at NZD 95 per month for a 30/10 Mbps plan with 50 GB, while 150 GB costs NZD 109 per month, and 500 GB is priced at NZD 129 per month. UltraFibre 100 plans are priced at NZD 125 per month for 50 GB of data, NZD 139 per month for 150 GB, and NZD 159 per month for 500 GB of data. Twelve-month contracts for both plans include landline rental, fibre installation, fibre modem, premise equipment, and McAfee Security Suite and Flickr Pro. 

Business plans start at NZD 167.29 for 200 GB of data on 100 Mbps while a Total Office (landline and Ultra Fibre broadband package) is priced at NZD 207 with 200 GB of data. School plans are available 30/30 Mbps speeds and start at NZD 129 per month with unlimited data while a 50/50 Mbps plan is priced at NZD 159 per month with unlimited data.
