Telekom continues rural (V)DSL roll-out in South Germany

Telekom Deutschland continues to expand its DSL and VDSL networks to rural areas around Germany, where currently no broadband services are available. The operator has activated its DSL networks in Grafenrheinfeld, Retzstadt, Bergkirchen's districts Bergkirchen, Günding, Deutenhausen, Feldgeding, Oberbachern, Unterbachern, Eisolzried, Kienaden plus Breitenau (Bavaria) and Meckenbeuren's districts Hegenberg, Liebenau, Strass and Langtrog (Baden-Wuerttemberg). This enables the inhabitans and businesses in these communities to order broadband services up to 16 Mbps. Telekom also activated its VDSL networks in Riedering's districts Soellhuben, Wolferkam, Schmidham, Siegharting, Petzgersdorf, Moosen, Ecking and Neukirchen; andSulzfeld (all Bavaria), enabling inhabitants and businesses to order broadband services up to 50 Mbps.
