Telekom Malaysia's fibre subscribers hit 500,000
Telekom Malaysia has seen the number of subscribers to its fibre-to-the-home service, UniFi, surpass the 500,000 subscribers mark. UniFi is now available in 94 areas covering more than 1.34 million premises passed. Telekom Malaysia has over 2 million broadband customers for both its UniFi and Streamyx DSL services. Telekom Malaysia also introduced new business packages for UniFi, namely Biz30 and Biz50, with options to add IPTV (HyppTV).

Telekom Malaysia has registered 2,076, customers for its Unifi broadband service in Negeri Sembilan, reports Bernama. TM Negeri Sembilan general manager Ramlan Omar said the total includes 1,302 customers in Senawang (including 157 business customers) and 774 in Nilai (47 business customers). Telekom Malaysia hits 400,000-customer mark for UniFi

Telekom Malaysia has hit the 400,000 subscriber mark for its high-speed UniFi service five months ahead of schedule. The milestone also comes three months after hitting the 300,000-customer mark, The Malaysia Insider reports. UniFi is available at 83 exchange areas covering more than 1.22 million premises. Telekom Malaysia aims to meet the targeted 1.3 million premises by December 2012.

TM to expand Unifi to 1.3 mln premises passed

Telekom Malaysia (TM) targets 1.3 million premises passed this year with its high speed broadband network named Unfi. The company currently has 1.2 million premises passed and has 320,000 subscribers to the service, Bernama reports. Telekom Malaysia also aims to improve customer service through new TMpoints, which offer one-stop services, call centres, and technicians to assist customers. Telekom Malaysia has seen its UniFi subscriber base surpass the 300,000 mark. The company is also celebrating the second birthday of the High Speed Broadband (HSBB) service.
