
Telekom Slovenije covers 60% of population with LTE

Telekom Slovenije has announced that its LTE network already covers 93 Slovenian towns and 60 percent of the population. This year, the Slovenian operator plans to upgrade its network to offer even faster data transfer rates of up to 150 Mbps to the user and up to 50 Mbps from the user. The high-speed internet service 4G 20 is available free of charge to all Mobitel subscribers, allowing data transfer speeds of up to 21 Mbps to the user and up to 5.76 Mbps from the user. The 4G 100 provides speeds of 100 or even 150 Mbps to the user, depending on location and device, and up to 50 Mbps from the user, for EUR 6 per month. Telekom Slovenije currently offers 35 LTE-compatible devices, including tablets, mobile phones and USB modems.
