Telmex, Intel partner on broadband services in Mexico

Mexican fixed-line operator Telmex has signed a partnership agreement with chipmaker Intel. Under the terms of the deal, Telmex and Intel will cooperate to boost the use and penetration of high-speed internet services in Mexico. The partners plan to introduce newer equipment and more options for software to make high-speed internet access more accessible for Mexican customers. No financial terms of the agreement have been disclosed.
