UK mobile retail sites were the performing sites in terms of availability in August, according to the latest data from Keynote Systems. The study tracked the mobile site performance of 24 of the top retailers from Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Sweden, UK and US. The UK sites all ranked in the top half of the index for response times, with Next coming in top of the UK sites in 5th place with a time of 6.16 seconds. However, all of the UK sites' times were slower than in July, with Tesco's response time slipping by almost 2.5 seconds. In terms of availability, the four UK sites monitored were by far the worst performers in August, all of them achieving an average availability of at least 9 percent lower than the next lowest score. Compared to last month's performance, all of the UK sites dropped between 11.5 percent and 13 percent in terms of availability.
