Wednesday 20 February 2013 | 21:23 CET | News
Provider of high-volume messaging services, Unisys has announced the two newest members of the Unisys VoiceSource Express (VSE) family of communications platforms: the high-end VSE420 and the entry-level VSE46. The offerings can combine with Unisys Stealth Solution for cybersecurity to offer regional and international communications providers a secure and scalable way to provide value-added services to their consumer and enterprise customers. Both platforms are based on Unisys ClearPath server technology using members of the Intel Xeon Processor family. Each VSE420 server can support up to 8 million subscribers and up to 24 million subscribers in a three-system cluster. The VSE46 platform provides a cost-effective entry level system that supports up to 2.5 million subscribers per system with clustering that provides scalability required for growth. The VSE420 and VSE46 platforms provide Unisys' suite of messaging services and enable providers to add features to services such as automatic reverse call, reverse SMS, intelligent 0800 call routing, sponsor calls, mobile ad insertion and multi-channel broadcast/interactive marketing campaigns. Unisys will showcase the new VSE offerings at Mobile World Congress 2013.
