United Internet adds triple flat to Freephone mobile brand
Friday 27 January 2012 | 20:18 CET
United Internet is expanding the Freephone discount mobile brand with a new triple flat-rate, reports onlinekosten.de. The new post-paid tariff costs EUR 9.99 per month as a SIM-only tariff and offers a flat-rate for calls to the German fixed-line network, to Freephone and 1&1 mobile connections, and an internet flat-rate. Calls to other German networks cost 9.9 cents per minute. The new post-paid plan adds to the existing Basic tariff plan. The internet flat-rate offers high-speed data at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps up to 300 MB a month, after which bandwidth is throttled to 64 kbps for the rest of the billing period. Customers can also get the new plan with a smartphone for EUR 14.99 per month. Available devices include the Samsung Galaxy S Plus and LG Optimus Black for EUR 99.99 each, the Samsung Galaxy Gio for EUR 19.99 or the Huawei Ideos X3 for free. The Freephone service is available from United Internet companies GMX and Web.de.
