Virgin Mobile France promotes Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc S

MVNO Virgin Mobile France is selling Sony-Ericsson's Xperia Arc S featuring a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, boosting the smartphone's power 25 percent, from EUR 1 with its Very Smartphone subscription. Echos du Net reports that it starts at EUR 129 on Divine Collector and Liberty Plus plans. The Xperia Arc S's camera has the 3D sweep panorama picture mode, unlike the Xperia Arc. Otherwise the new phone has the same characteristics as its predecessor: 117 g, 4.2-in multipoint touch screen, 8.1 megapixel camera, HDMI connectivity, Wi-Fi, 8 GB hard drive and Android Gingerbread 2.3. On top of SFR's subsidy, Sony-Ericsson is offering a EUR 50 cashback offer on the Xperia Arc S to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
