Vivacom began offering its fibre optic internet service 'FiberNet' in the city of Varna. The operator has built telecom infrastructure in key parts of Varna and the network will gradually be made available throughout the city. Customers can choose between internet packages as well as 'Vivacom Duo' dual-play (FiberNet + Mobi or FiberNet +TV) and triple-play packages (optical internet, mobile telephony and IPTV). For instance, they can subscribe for internet packages offering download speeds between 20 and 100 Mbps for a monthly fee between BGN 5 and 50. All packages offer unlimited bandwidth, Nod 32 antivirus, the opportunity to request a static IP address and an e-mailbox of 500 MB, technical support and installation, all at no extra cost. Business subscribers may request web hosting space of 5 GB. Vivacom's FiberNet, which was launched in the summer of 2011, already covers over 100,000 households in the capital Sofia.
