VIVENDI MAY LIST HAVAS INTERACTIVE

Thursday 11 February 1999 | 00:00 CET | News
Vivendi (France), conglomerate, will consider listing Havas Interactive on the stock markets of Paris, France, or New York, NY, by 2001-2002, according to Eric Licoys, chairman of Havas, unit of Vivendi. Havas is regrouping all of its multimedia businesses into Havas Interactive, including its recently acquired Cendant Software (US). The time required to consolidate the restructuring explains the delay in listing on the stock market. Havas said its interactive unit is likely to see its European revenue rise by 25%/y and its US revenue to rise by 15%/y from a combined revenue of FFr3.5 bil/y, or one fifth of Havas's total.
