Vivo to send 'Nostalgia' messages to customers for Christmas

Monday 17 December 2012 | 11:05 CET | News
Brazilian mobile operator Vivo has introduced an initiative that will see every customer receiving an SMS with the word 'Saudade' sent by a loved one. Every time a customer sends an SMS to 2512 - the date that represents Christmas - with the mobile number of another Vivo customer, the message 'Saudade' will be sent free of charge to the recipient. The procedure can also be performed on the Vivo internet site. The word 'Saudade' exists only in the Portuguese language and is best translated as 'Nostalgia'.
