Wednesday 5 December 2012 | 10:21 CET | News
Vodacom Tanzania plans to reward customers with bonus airtime if they use the company's M-Pesa mobile payment service. MD Rene Meza said the bonus will be awarded on the first transaction of the day for each service used. If a customer buys Luku three times in a day, for instance, they get TZS 1000 on the first transaction only, whereas transacting for other services will result in additional bonuses, the Daily News reported. The airtime can also be used for on-net calling, national SMS and internet.
