Vodafone Germany signs content deal with Disney for IPTV

Vodafone Germany has signed a licence agreement with Walt Disney Company for IPTV content. Under the agreement, Vodafone Germany's TV service Vodafone TV will offer movies and series from Disney as VoD service in the Vodafone Videothek. At the same time, Vodafone will add ABCTV on Demand to its Lounge theme package offering access to seasons of popular series like Desperate Housewives or Grey's Anatomy as well as adding Disney XD and Playhouse Disney to its Kids package. Vodafone TV is a hybrid IPTV service using DSL and satellite to offer TV services via broadband.
