Vodafone Germany to replace DSL with LTE for broadband - CEO

Vodafone Germany wants to move the majority of its DSL customers to its LTE network, according to Vodafone Germany CEO Friedrich Joussen in an interview with German financial weekly Boersen-Zeitung. He said that Vodafone currently pays up to EUR 500 million per year to Telekom Deutschland for using its fixed network and that LTE offers enough bandwidth to replace DSL as broadband technology.
