Vodafone Hungary's clients send 9 mln SMS, MMS around Xmas

Vodafone Hungary's customers sent almost 9 million SMS and MMS messages and made more than 8 million telephone calls during a three-day period around Christmas. This is a slight decrease compared to the 10 million SMS and MMS and 8.5 million calls from last year's Christmas. The 10 percent decrease in the number of sent messages is explained by the fact that some people chose to send their greetings to friends and families via social networks. The highest volume of traffic was seen on 24 December, when more than 6 million messages were sent by Vodafone customers.
