Vodafone Italia launches Vodafone Booster femtocell

Vodafone Italia has launched the Vodafone Booster, a femtocell to boost the quality and coverage of the 3G mobile network indoors. The device can ensure high-quality mobile network coverage in buildings, houses, industrial plants and partially isolated areas, using a connection to a fixed broadband line to support services. Two versions of the device are available in Vodafone shops: V1.5 to support up to eight devices and cover up to 500 square meters, for a cost of EUR 549; and V2.0 to support four devices and 90 square meters, for EUR 169. Business can buy the devices in monthly installments of respectively EUR 19 and EUR 5.
