Vodafone NL, T-Mobile NL experience iPhone 5 shortage

Wednesday 10 October 2012 | 10:15 CET | News
Vodafone Netherlands has run out of iPhone 5 devices and so has had to temporarily halt sales, iPhoneclub reported, citing the company's official forum. Demand has exceeded the number of devices available, with a large number of orders still waiting to be filled. Vodafone NL plans to resume sales when it has a large enough stock to satisfy demand. It will not accept any orders until that time. The operator said it will fill existing orders as quickly as possible. Customers going to the site to order an iPhone 5 have been routed to a page offering the iPhone 4S together with a subscription.
