Zscaler unveils Zulu to protect against web page threats

Cloud security company Zscaler has announced a new online service that helps end users to assess the threat posed by a specific web page, ITP.net reported. It assesses pages by checking content, URL and host for telltale signs such as malicious code, known suspicious or malicious patterns and behaviour, and historic reputation of the host. Zulu uses intelligence derived from Zscaler's global cloud service, partner resources and public information, to calculate a comprehensive overall risk score. Zscaler said Zulu combines multiple data sources and builds upon the expertise it has built to deliver a simple and free service that anyone can use quickly and comprehensively to identify malicious content.
