Keeping the mobile phone close during daily activities
This chart shows how often Dutch consumers (15-65 yrs) have their mobile phones with them during common activities: working, sleeping, commuting to work or school, doing sports, going out or going on holiday. Data is for October 2012 (n=2,173). The chart shows the answer to the question: "How often do you have your mobile phone with you (within a meter's distance) when doing one of the following activities?" Answers were: 'always', 'often' which was followed by at least 80% of the time, 'regularly' followed by approximately 50% of the time, 'sometimes' followed' by approximately 30% of the time, 'close to never' followed by approximately 10% of the time and never. People could also answer with does not apply; these results have been excluded. Source: Telecompaper Consumer Panel.
