Angola government, Movicel bring internet to schools

Angola's Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology has announced that eight primary schools of Cazenga district, Luanda, will shortly get a computer cabinet and internet service. Local daily Jornal de Angola reported that minister Jose Carvalho da Rocha said the distribution of computers to schools and installing internet service is part of the expansion project implemented in partnership with mobile operator Movicel. He added that the project will be extended to secondary schools in the Cazenga district, before being developed across the country.
