Czech media legislation to be amended for digital radio

Czech regulator CTU's Council discussed the comments received in the public consultation on the draft rules to award frequencies for digital radio in the band 174−230 MHz. CTU received comments by six entities. CTU's conclusion was that like with DVB-T, the current media legislation does not meet the requirements of the future digital broadcasting platform. Nobody questioned the proposed intention to reserve frequencies for a future multiplex of Czech Radio.
