Datang to buy three mobile companies

Chinese equipment maker Datang Telecom is planning to buy three companies. The company has accelerated due diligence and auditing assessments of the companies and is continuing negotiations with their respective shareholders. Datang aims to wholly acquire TD-SCDMA chip maker Leadcore Technology, handset design and manufacturing company Shanghai Uniscope Technologies, and its subsidiary Qidong Uniscope Electronics, Marbridge Consulting writes citing a report in Sina Tech. Datang already holds a 51 percent stake in Shanghai Uniscope.
