F-Secure unveils Antibot for network security

Tuesday 19 February 2013 | 17:06 CET | News
F-Secure has introduced Antibot, a new product that fights botnets by cleaning infected PCs and devices on operators' networks. F-Secure Antibot disinfects devices that are infected on a network by guiding the users through a self-cleaning processing, cutting out the need to call the operator helpdesk. Antibot's automated cleaning capabilities reduces volume and length of calls to operator support resulting in cost savings. Anitbot will support Windows and Android platforms with support for Max OSX to be available later this year. Antibot is co-brandable and its end user messaging is fully customisable. F-Secure will be showcasing Antibot at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, 25-28 February.
